Founder, WillowCare Dorset

How It All Started
My Journey in healthcare began many years ago.
I started my career working at Poole Hospital one a Trauma and Orthopaedic ward, where I gained invaluable experience caring for people during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
I then went on to work in Dorset County Hospital, continuing to develop my skills and passion for supporting individuals with compassion, dignity and respect.
Later in life, I cared for my beloved Grandmother full time in her own home before she passed away. That experience changed me in ways I will never forget. It taught me the true meaning of patience, love, resilience and the importance of allowing someone to remain in the place they feel safest.
It was during this that WillowCare Dorset was born – to bring that same level of care, kindness and commitment to others.
Our Mission
To provide outstanding, relationship-led care that empowers individuals to live life on their own terms, with dignity, independence and respect.

Why We Do It
We believe everyone deserves to feel valued, independent and support – especially when they need a helping hand.
We’re here to make life easier, brighter and more comfortable for those we care for, and peace of of mind for their families.

Our Approach
We take time to truly understand each person we support – their needs, preferences and routines.
Our acres tailored, consistent and delivered by caregivers who are not only highly trained, but also kind, trustworthy and attentive.
We build real relationships based on respect, reliability and trust.
